English Translation of Matthew’s After-Show Chat (From ):Thank you for watching. That was my vocal cover of “Kura Kura” by Ado-san!Aren’t the production staff fabulous? Ado-chan on vocals, lyrics and music by meiyo-san, of the “Naniyattemo umaku ikanai” fame. And arrangement by Kanno Yoko-san, who did music for MACROSS Frontier. An impressive line-up of creators. I was awed and I listened to it, and of course it is so good. This is the opening theme to the second season of anime “SPY x FAMILY”. Do you guys watch SPY x FAMILY? I think this love of family members is great. The three Forgers are not really a family. But the bonds between them are stronger than that of real blood families. You’d feel their hearts are connected with each other it brings me to tears so easily…. (Caption says “Matthew’s tear ducts are broken”)I can’t seem to stop tearing up lately. I just cry a lot these days. The other day, I was chatting with a friend of mine. We were reminiscing about some mutual memories. I was saying that he was making real efforts that time it was admirable, etc. We were talking about something that happened a couple of months ago. In the past. But the phrase “you were making real efforts” did it for me and I started crying. My tear ducts must have reacted to those words. (Caption says “I can’t understand it myself.”) Tears started falling. (Matthew laughs.) It’s embarrassing. If I was reacting to some symptom that was happening on the scene, maybe I’d understand it. But it was not so much of a big deal, it was some trivial thing, like my friend was working hard on producing an event that time. But that’s enough to move me to tears. I think I am an old man. (Caption says “I feel the passage of years on my body.”) (Matthew laughs.) - 【SPY×FAMILY主題歌】クラクラ/Adoを歌ってみた- ver.ましゅー¦Kura Kura¦

English Translation of Matthew’s After-Show Chat (From ):Thank you for watching. I covered “Brave” by YOASOBI this time. How cool the song is! This is the opening theme to the animation “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”. Have you watched it yet? I didn’t know about the anime, but I heard that this “Brave” was to be the opening song, so I checked it out. It is “VACHIKUSOII” (meaning super good). In a nutshell, usually, stories of the brave are about their adventures until they conquer the Devil. It’s the normal flow. But in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the story begins when the band of braves conquered the Devil and returned home victorious. It’s the story of what happened after the battles. The protagonist Frieren, the wizard in the band of braves is an elf. Elves live for a very long time. They traveled for 10 years. But how it feels for humans and elves are different. Human members say “it was a very long time.” But for Frieren, “what are you talking about? it was mere 10 years. It’s not even a hundredth of my entire lifetime.” She sounds curt and unfeeling. From then on, many things happen and Frieren starts to think she wants to know about humans. She retraces the track they took in the journey. The story is so…ephemeral…really ephemeral. There are battle scenes, all right, but they are not the main feature. The focus is more on the differences in sense of values between different tribes or species. It’s just ephemeral. It’s ephemeral. I hope you get my drift. (Matthew laughs.) Now the anime is on many streaming sites, like Amazon Prime and Netflix, I think. I recommend you watch “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”. I like reading manga comics. I read a lot of them. Do you have any favorites? If you can recommend your favorite comics in the comments section below, that would make me very happy. Please Subscribe, Like and turn on the Bell for notification. (Caption says Follow me on Instagram, TikTok and X.) I’m looking forward to seeing you again next time. I’m Matthew. Bye-bye. - 【TVアニメ「葬送のフリーレン」OP】勇者/YOASOBIを歌ってみた- ver.ましゅー¦The Brave
