I'm learning multiple languages so I wanted to compare some sentences I felt like wasn't translated as smoothly into English and discovered something? at English translation says "that girl" and I wanted to know if the other person's gender was specified in the original lyrics and found out it actually kinda wasn't? they use "あの子" here which translates to "child" more than "girl" (i didn't use google translate I looked up forums instead, seemed pretty gender-neutral to me) and in Korean they used "아이" which, again, translates to "child". Japanese speakers, if I am wrong please do correct me but if it's right I'll say that this is a nice surprise for me since I personally prefer gender-neutral language in the songs I listen to!
