.

con todo lo que de repente fui capaz de comprender.

Livara even focuses that Kalmia's braid is gone. The reason why female servants under Gui bear braids is because sex trafficking takes people's youth away. Making them wear braids is insulting to their own youth, especially for Kalmia because her small braid was likely done by her mother.

anyway lets talk abt white braid and pink braid (not kalmia, i mean the other maid person, actually lets give her a better name. uhh, punk). from the beginning we see these two serve evil honcho man, but where white braid seems relatively neutral/curious () abt the new sucker named kalmia, punk doesn't seem so inviting (

Something I noticed between the two videos is, though I'm not sure WHY, only the "elf girls" seem to have horns (aka the ones with sharp, spikey ears rather than normal human looking ones). This includes Kalmia, her mother, at least one of the slave girls (from as well as the long shot after in which the three girls with horns all seem to have sharp ears), and Armis. I thought at first the horns were a symbol for something, but it instead seems like it's distinguishing an entirely separate species - for what purpose I can't say, since clearly both humans and elves can be slaves, and they don't seem segregated in any way.Edit: I tried to edit this earlier but it seems youtube likes deleting or reversing my edits if my comments are too long, so I'll keep it short. There is one possible significance to elves. They age slower. One of the young children pictured in this PV is a guard in Shama, where Kalmia looks at best just a bit more mature than she does here - not ten years older. This means Livara can also be the person pictured with young Clay since that would make her not much older than when those events transpired.

actually after watching arandano is that not?? hale albee?? yellow eyes like gui but the haircut is different. i wonder if that implies the whole assassination was his plot or something, or at least that he was witness to everything that happened

speaking of those other girls, i have no idea what they're doing lined up outside and why kalmia is dressed up in this scene. evidently, some time has passed (hair change!), and when evil honcho gives kalmia the side-eye at presumably he's off to his speech thingy we see kalmia crash later. maybe bc he's gonna be out for a bit he's handcuffing everyone and making sure they stay in place?? who knows

At Armis is handing Kalmia a drink, but then right after, the girl with hair covering her eye (I think this one is Liavra) grabs her arm and looks her in the eye, before leaving Kalmia to stand there

Hey, there is something I noticed I haven't seen in other comments. In she was planning on killing him by giving him that glass of wine with poison, but the other girl told her it wouldn't work and she wouldn't have success, so instead, she grabbed a sword, poured the poison in the blade and cut him so even if she couldn't kill him with the cut, he would be dead with the poison. That is what I think.

Armis: Two braids and completely symmetric face (). Armis is completely symmetrical unlike Kalmia and Livara, making her stand out

El castigo y el veneno se debe temer como los caballos y los venados.

"El castigo y el veneno se debe tener como los caballos y los venados" ¿qué significa?

@Anime Otaku I’ve heard theories that Armis was jealous of Kalmia getting to “do the dirty” with Gui Oakes, and was trying to poison Kalmia at , but now I’m starting to feel like all 3 of the servant girls (Armis, Livara, Kalmia) had been plotting to kill everyone at the party: with Armis poisoning the guests’ drinks and giving Kalmia’s sword poison to ensure Gui’s death. I think that since Kalmia killed Gui herself and Livara killed Ron, those deaths were more personal; so I’m starting to wonder what grudge Livara had against Ron

Fun fact: in the lyrics say "there are no drugs that can be administered to horses and deer..." and actually the Kalmia flower (like the name of the song) is poisonous to both animals.

In the lyrics are "there are no drugs that can be administered to horses and deer that do not fear restraint or poison fangs", and an interesting thing I noticed is that the Japanese word for idiot, baka, consists of the Kanji for horse and deer. This could mean that this line is meataphorical for "Idiots won't notice if someone does evil in front of them, because they're blind to that."Thanks for coming to my ted talk ^w^

ish we can see punk is handing out drinks but gives a conspicuously bright (hint: poisoned) drink to kalmia, who considers drinking it, but at

Entonces no hay necesidad de una medicina.

In this hell, Kalmia quickly realizes that there's no salvation and wants to drink the "poison" to numb the pain and succumb herself to her situation- UNTILL when our other mysterious teal eyed protagonist (who strikingly resembles Clay Pool from Shama, except with a braid- also isn't it funny how Kalmia cuts off her braid in Shama, and in this MV we see Clay with a similar long braid?). "Clay" reminds her of her purpose, that there is hope, and stops her from drinking the poison. She decides to do what needs to be done and takes fate into her own hands- she realizes that the only way to escape hell is to become stronger than the demons. So, her demon horns grow longer, she waltzes in like Bad Bitch Supreme, kills the man, and escapes, leaving "Clay" behind in the hell. Everytime I watch this MV and Shama, I feel like at its core it's all a repeating tragic (and maybe one-sided) love story for Clay and Kalmia. In both, they are constantly struggling to decipher real love. In Shama chorus: "If this shallow love is love... then like a fool.." In Kilmaa chorus: "There is no love, this is no love" Clay sees through Kalmia's act every time, see her as her true self, and Clay is her salvation everytime. Yet, Clay is destined to stay behind to help Kalmia escape her horrible circumstances, and Clay would be willing to do it again and again if only to see her happy and herself. Why? Clay loves her. But, Kalmia never realizes (or does she?)

So is the wine at poisoned? And she poured it onto the blade at

white braid is like 'stop. that's illegal' while punk at

Livara: has one braid and has one eye covered (). Her one covered eye foreshadows her fondness for Kalmia, because Kalmia has two different eyes. It's a visual que that Livara is more understanding that Armis.

of Shama, in the same way that Kalmia wears a prison uniform and then flashes into her younger self wearing the dress from the party she assassinated Gui Oakes at, Clay Pool flashes into the child from the church, signifying to the viewer that it was indeed Clay Pool in the past. There’s a few other small things, such as the difference in how Livara and Clay Pool appear. Livara has prominent bottom eyelashes and her bangs fall over her right eye; Clay Pool has neither, and seems noticeably younger and has different mannerisms than Livara. Also, with what Crimilly has said, it would make sense that Clay Pool couldn’t be Livara since Livara views Kalmia as a daughter of sorts, while Clay Pool is romantically attracted to Kalmia. I hope this helps!

I think so. The reason she sprayed poison on the knife seems to be fighting back, not running away, but I think Armis did not help her. Her expression at is not good...

goes 'hmph fine don't die i guess.' i don't really know why these two are like that specifically (maybe punk is jealous of kalmia's hair lol). if punk were portrayed as a more sympathetic person, it could be said that her giving the poison to kalmia is an out from this pickle kalmia's in, but it appears to be malicious. I wonder why punk is so threatened by kalmia.

Yoo I just realized this, could the woman with green eyes be Clay's Relative? The short flashing images of a little girl at seems quite similar to Clay's Child self. She might've told Kalmia about her and maybe told her to get revenge in their stead?

?

@Egglit Egglet Hi! I’m going to try to explain it a bit. There’s quite a few reasons why we theorize that Livara is Clay’s mother. It takes much attention to detail. The flashing images at on this video (Kilmer) show a mother with a child, and then that child hiding someplace (presumably like Kalmia and her mother did at the beginning of this video, but unlike Kalmia, the child was successful in hiding from the bad guys). Also, at the very beginning of this video, we see Kalmia walking into a church. From looking at Kalmia’s hairstyle (before it changes into Young Kalmia’s hair), it is evident that this is older Kalmia, after having assassinated Gui Oakes (evil dude that killed Kalmia’s mother). If you watch the flashing images of

of Kilmer, which is how Kalmia locates the child. Furthermore, at

For some reason, at , some images appear in white braid's eye about um. kalmia's childhood? maybe?... maybe she's seeing like motherly protection and reminders of childhood loneliness when white braid does this. nonetheless, this, along with seeing her horned shadow (

) shows up on the eye, and right after the person is gone from behind the chain. I feel like this means some sort of power?? of kalmia/her mom enabled them to escape. They seem to have some non-human elements like the horns, this symbol thing, the pointy ears, but these also ended up catching the attention of evil honcho man. Also, I thought it was interesting it was all left with kalmia and her mom: in key points like

? You can even see her with a bandage on her leg at

沙痲の時足首に包帯を巻いてるのは隠すため

) and he reminder of the symbol on her leg, inspire her to take up the sword even though she must know she's going to jail again.

You see her right around I think

her hair looks like a scorpions tail, showing how if you mess with something in such a way, karma will eventually come back to haunt, or sting you

? Super cool detail if so, reminds me of Hamlet

Hago sonidos de furia mientras paso entre manadas y masas.

の「爛々騒ぐ有象無象すり抜けて」のとこイヤホン付けたら本当に声がすり抜けててびっくりした

in the lyrics evil honcho's a guy who says 'it is what it is' a lot. he is a guy who kills and exploits and is generally mean to more than a few people, and yet he has power. he somehow has the authority to get away with starting a big riot and kidnapping someone in public, and at abt we can see that a lot of 'the mobs and masses' are listening to his stupid speech. kalmia is in general at a great disadvantage. she has to comply with his wishes out of, you know, not wanting to die, but she's also probably still a wanted criminal? so he might be holding that over her head. so, as much as it sucks, he can almost just do what he wants, strong exploits the weak and all that, and say 'it is what it is'-- that's how the world goes, blah blah, yeah this guy is the worst. at the same time tho, when kalmia finally gets the upper hand, she allows him to say that one last time. this could be interpreted a lot of ways, like that this is kalmia's revolt against that concept of strength begets exploitation and weakness begets more weakness, or that the same philosophy of 'it is what it is' also applies to evil honcho such that he can't do anything to stop kalmia from stabbing him.

I've mentioned this sort of thing before but at I genuinely think (given what we see in Arandano) that he wasn't shooting at Kalmia. I think he shot Ron, who was going to attack Kalmia (thus why Ron is shown dead with a head wound when we never see him being attacked). This is why he suddenly looks scared/worried despite being calm the moment before. There's no real reason why, if he genuinely wanted to protect himself from her, he couldn't have shot her at close range - he's implied to be a high-ranking member of the military, probably a general, so shooting someone in the chest with a revolver when they're several feet away with nothing but a sword they don't really know how to use realistically is not a problem.

At you see Gui's beaten body replaced by Kalmia's mother's dead body. The frame after that, Kalmia starts crying, it could be because she realised that she is doing what Gui did to her mother. She doesn't want to do the cruel things Gui did, she doesn't want to 'become' Gui. Then, Kalmia's mother comforts her and she gets the courage to finally finish him off. The frame switches from Kalmia to her mother at the part of the killing, I think Kalmia didn't really want to kill Gui, but after her encouragement from her mother she thought of it as avenging her.

However I think the one who killed Ron was actually Livara, since her face is splashed with blood . She wanted her to free everyone there, and killed Ron to stop him from stop Kalmia. , we see a few images: a crushed glass of wine (poison??), the bloodied face of creepy henchman, and then a bit of blood on white braid's face. i think here it's implied that at the same time kalmia killed evil honcho white braid also went to town on creepy henchman, which is really something. i don't think white braid is clay in shama, as clay didn't recognize kalmia in the beginning of shama and also how would have white braid switched professions so quickly/not been arrested herself for killing a guy, but the similarity is uncanny. and they're (clay and white braid) both pretty cool so who knows

I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out yet, but if you listen closely at There is a faint voice singing the beginning of the previous song, Shama.

didn't notice that, Kalmia's real name is Hannah Mosco

So basically, at . There's slightly spoiler.
