It's probably one of the last few things of his parents, so he's clinging to it. Then Tamo comes in through the door, and into the innocent Yota's life. He gives Yota that big purple coat of his and tries to comfort him. I feel like the 'If you bottle up your emotions you'll become bitter' part was something Yota repeated from Tamo. As Yota's lost his parents and is seeking that parental bond, he tries forcing himself to accept Tamo's acts of kindness (Tamo was basically pushing Yota to accept him as a replacement parent), telling himself that he's not lonely, not lonely at all. Even though he tells himself that, he still misses his family alot, though. The hand that crushes him is Tamo's BTW. You can tell from how they're a bit knotted and older-looking. I believe it symbolizes how while he wants himself to accept Tamo, it's taking a toll on him bc he really doesn't love him the way he would love his real parents. Edit: at he's showing his face with a truly happy look on his face, only to get crushed. I think this shows what he's truly afraid of, being vulnerable again only to get crushed. Even though their friendship was superficial, he actually did grow attached to Yota. So when he was taken away, he did in fact feel the pang of loneliness again. No wanting to go through the same thing again, he made a decision. The only way he could feel that happiness was to take matters into his own hands, only truly show himself in the moment before his death. There's no rejection after the fact then. No crushing of his emotions, no nothing. Even though Yota managed to escape his loneliness, Tamo couldn't.

- I know how many people are saying that's Yota, but I *highly* doubt it. It's unlikely in a story like this that Yota was able to escape Tamo, a full grown man's, intentions. Plus, look at the shoes. Throughout the entire song, Tamo's worn those same BLACK shoes, and Yots's always shown wearing teal-colored ones. It's a distinguishing factor between the two. I believe that in the end, Tamo killed Yota, and couldn't go through with killing himself. He put his coat back on, and, once again, plagues by guilt, he returns frequently to the grave with flowers and gifts, trying to receive forgiveness from above.*SUMMARY:*Tamo killed Yota's parents and felt guilty about itIn order to relieve himself of his guilt, he starts visiting Yota and being friendly to him.Yota honestly wants to be left alone to grieve, but the child in him needs that parental bond, so he forces himself to believe in TamoTamo starts to feel grieved by him being so innocent and trusting, and begins to want to kill the kid.
