it seems like no one is talking about the first four shots at so let's take a look at them,At 1st shot toma was shown walking somewhere surrounded by bodies lying on the floor and at 2nd shot a person was shown lying in front of him at 3rd shot the person get up looking down on floor and the most surprising 4th shot toma's face was shown looking down at the person and crying[ there are 3 possibilities about those shots -

In no way am I unhappy. I'm not so big a fool I wouldn't notice.

No, no. If I bottle up my emotions, I won't understand the plain distress and bitterness.

How well I did. What became of me.

I love that slightly feminine voice he uses to sing that

I like how sounds like he's lamenting while

I'll be satisfied regardless.

Yota's loved ones are gone and he's heavily grieved, and we can see at he's wearing a teal-colored shoe that seems too big to be his. It's probably one of the last few things of his parents, so he's clinging to it. Then Tamo comes in through the door, and into the innocent Yota's life. He gives Yota that big purple coat of his and tries to comfort him. I feel like the 'If you bottle up your emotions you'll become bitter' part was something Yota repeated from Tamo. As Yota's lost his parents and is seeking that parental bond, he tries forcing himself to accept Tamo's acts of kindness (Tamo was basically pushing Yota to accept him as a replacement parent), telling himself that he's not lonely, not lonely at all. Even though he tells himself that, he still misses his family alot, though. The hand that crushes him is Tamo's BTW. You can tell from how they're a bit knotted and older-looking. I believe it symbolizes how while he wants himself to accept Tamo, it's taking a toll on him bc he really doesn't love him the way he would love his real parents. However, he'll play along. ~~~"Both morning and night, twice a day," Refers to the times Tamo visits Yota. "I'm hoping to be saved by that" refers to his guilt. He believes that if he takes care of Yota he will trust him, leading him one step closer to his ultimate goal."This pure, innocent little f*cker won't stay obedient forever" Tamo's already stated things about 'not wanting to do this anymore' and describes 'the seal of death' on his face. He thinks he's ready to die and he wants to take Yota out with him. In the state Yota's in now, he's likely overly trusting and oblivious of these intentions."I'm not honest! Not honest at all!" He's feeling even worse about lying to the kid and taking advantage of him. It's sort of a statement, a realization, and he kinda laughs about it (it's obvious he's mentally unstable)"I honestly just want to be swept away!" He just wants to get away from it all. It's beginning to tear him apart. How? He considers suicide over his homicidal plan. The person with the long hair that randomly grabbed Yota and hugged him, I'm not sure who this is. Perhaps it's a memory of his mother?"I simply want to live without being scorned by that pure heartedness" Meaning Yota, obviously. Him still being alive and seeming to trust Tamo, a sinful man, is guilt-tripping him even more.

sounds like he already accepted something because it was all he could do

MY FAV PART❤

It's really tough to choose, but I think my favorite part of this entire song is the first chorus. The first "I'm not lonely!" is sung in firm, obstinate denial, which is really sad because trying to claim that you're not lonely in that tone is just... really pitiful. Then the next

daaaaaamn

"Not lonely at all!" continues with the persistent denial but also feels like they're trying to back it up—trying to reinforce the assertion, as if something is _threatening_ that belief—because of the extra emotion in the refusal making him sound _so_ much more miserable. The lyric "Even though I get that, this hunger for love won't disappear" alone already breaks my heart, but the way he sings it just makes it shrivel further. The

that deliberate strain omg

サビのの「消えない」の「え」や

"I want to be fooled by you!" his voice sounds like it trembles at the end, and you _know_ how much of a sucker I am for whenever miyuu does that. And to tremble while confessing that you willingly want to be fooled—willingly want to live a lie of false belief and fabricated love with someone—that's _devastating._ "I really want to be fooled by you!" again with the stress, the repeating emphasis on such a tragic admission. And finally, "Even knowing that this belief and love I have for you is a lie," and of course it's sung with despair, "let's live cleanly and properly" the chorus is ended with hopeful—or foolish and unrealistic—words.

Even knowing my love and devotion to you is simply a lie,

I got this ideas after re watching a few times but the first time I also got the child abuse vibes. I thought that in Toma had beaten Yota up. but thinking of it deeper I think it´s more likely for it being a flashback of Toma´s cult.

omg again

I don't want to blame anyone else, but taking everything on will ruin my health.

do yall hear some sort of morse code sounds during ?if anybody knows morse code is it just random beeping noises or an actual hidden message?

Morning and night, twice a day I hope I will be saved by that, like an idiot.

I hate this. I don't want to do this.

I'm really digging this part and that _tremble_ towards the end

The actual sequence starts at . We see Toma was comforting Yota. His right hand wass on Yota, patting him. His left hand was obscured.

But I'm still clinging onto it before I realize.

"It's still better than being dead," reads the look of exhaustion on my face.

薄目で見たら骸骨だわ…

Toma's jacket looks like an animal skull (maybe not intentional) but sure looks like it.

The old man's gaze and irrational opinions are both insane.

I'm not too sure about what happened at but, it could be Tamo trying to kill Yota or,( the more reasonable explanation) Tamo's first attempt to kill himself which failed as someone or, Tamo stopping himself from ending his own life. The story is the same for Tamo, who equally seeks a bond but, also doesn't want to get close to Yota, as they already lost someone prior.

My man really broke his vocal cords atThat's dedication

Second thing, the scene at .

Then we cut to . It turned into a different perspective from behind Toma. It revealed that Toma was holding a knife on his left hand while comforting Yota with his right hand. Then we got the eyes looking down. This is Toma's eyes as Toma looked down on the cryin Yota.Combined with the two graves that Toma dug later on and Toma eventual suicide, I think the scene was Toma contemplating to murder-suicide both himself and Yota. To end their shared sad and lonely life. But in the end, Toma can't take away Yota life as he looked down at the boy, an innocent and pure boy as the lyric said. So he can't do it.

I will always love the part at because d a n g the way he sings while a second voice scratches in the background just akfbskndjd

I really want to be cast away!

"wassup shawty"

We can't miss the last train to the happy ending we crave,

Edit: at he's showing his face with a truly happy look on his face, only to get crushed. I think this shows what he's truly afraid of, being vulnerable again only to get crushed. Even though their friendship was superficial, he actually did grow attached to Yota. So when he was taken away, he did in fact feel the pang of loneliness again. No wanting to go through the same thing again, he made a decision. The only way he could feel that happiness was to take matters into his own hands, only truly show himself in the moment before his death. There's no rejection after the fact then. No crushing of his emotions, no nothing. Even though Yota managed to escape his loneliness, Tamo couldn't.

so let's escape with only the clothes on our backs.

A thing to point out: The boy's necklace is a Rosary bead, an accesory typically used to pray. Also: In you can see the boy counting the small balls as one prayer equals one ball.

I'm not lonely.

imagine waking up in teh middle of the night while this plays on 0.75x speed

: We can see torn up floorboards and holes, likely graves, underneath with Tamo sitting in the midst. Time to put his plan into action."R.I.P." Looking back to the part where he says "I don't want to blame anyone else", he really doesn't want to kill Yota, but it feels like the only way to rid him of his guilt is to kill the kid and forget the whole thing."Let's cheerfully fall together" Tamo's plans a double suicide.

As time passes Yota becomes comfortable with his new life, however... a strange figure appears. Notice Yota's expression, it’s not fear but familiarity. It’s his mother coming to take him home, as Tamo watches and, slowly closes the door. At the scene is blurry but, it appears as if Tamo had finished making two graves, one for him and, one for Yota... but, he doesn’t want to kill Yota, but he’s put the pieces together for himself.

I'm really not lonely, and yet... (rest in peace)

I just love his whisper at

I’m not the only one who heard “rest in peace” right?

(Another Note: between and

Additional theory: the boy from "Bitter Choco Decoration" is Tamo. There's the similar hairstyle and lyrics about 'not being average.' The theme of "Bitter Choco Decoration" is being forced to conform, making a match. Also in a flicker shot , Tamo's hair color switches to orange.

theres a split second at while tamo is saying "R.I.P" where he has a crown made of thorns. some religious imagery right there i love

, it flickers between three shots: one of Tamo, one of Yota, and a man with cream colored hair. I believe that the cream haired man was Tamo who had put up a facade( his blue appearance) even before he met Yota in order to “keep cool“ after the death of his previous friend which allowed him to think of Yota in his last moments.)

I also barely noticed this that at during the rest in peace scene a flash of yota's face was shown looking at the screen and crying that means yota was present at the time toma jumped of the tower but toma didn't expected him to come that's why while saying RIP his face was shown with a calm smile and tear coming from one of his eyessome facts I think are possible

I am not lonely.

ここのサビの入り好きすぎる、、

those two are my favoritee! fr idk whyyy

I'm really not lonely, and

Look at why is Yato's necklace from his mother broken off? Why does Toma have similar beads on his wrist. Also, at

-The flashes of yota and toma shown over there faces between and

though I get it, I can't shake this hunger for love.

, his voice becomes so delicate and soft, as if love is precious and fragile, which is kinda in-line with the story behind the song. knowing miy_yuu, i wouldn't be surprised if this was intentional.

I want to be fooled by you.

, the guy also made a bracelet out of his fingernails

I really want to be fooled by you!

If I break free of the chains binding me to this life,

To support my theory on the kid becoming the new cultist; at his face flashes to a similar expression like the cultist so yeah.

with a completely different expression could be there real expression inside them-yota could be suffering from depression or some mental problem because of which he was unable to understand emotions and anxious to feel them-The hand that crushes yota and toma could represent there life and faith but yota was shown wanting to be crushed and toma was shown wanting to rule over it that means even when there desire were opposite there faith were same

let's fall happily together.

kinda looks like you just pulled them on a Genshin banner tho.

最後の泣いてるような笑い?が好き…エモ…

the little chuckle at aaahhh

- I know how many people are saying that's Yota, but I *highly* doubt it. It's unlikely in a story like this that Yota was able to escape Tamo, a full grown man's, intentions. Plus, look at the shoes. Throughout the entire song, Tamo's worn those same BLACK shoes, and Yots's always shown wearing teal-colored ones. It's a distinguishing factor between the two. I believe that in the end, Tamo killed Yota, and couldn't go through with killing himself. He put his coat back on, and, once again, plagues by guilt, he returns frequently to the grave with flowers and gifts, trying to receive forgiveness from above.*SUMMARY:*Tamo killed Yota's parents and felt guilty about itIn order to relieve himself of his guilt, he starts visiting Yota and being friendly to him.Yota honestly wants to be left alone to grieve, but the child in him needs that parental bond, so he forces himself to believe in TamoTamo starts to feel grieved by him being so innocent and trusting, and begins to want to kill the kid. All throughout, guilt jusy keeps piling up, so he plots to actually do it, then kill himselfTamo makes the preparations, and then kills Yota, however, he's too scared to kill himself in the end.He visits Yota's grave

theory, at we can see a grown yota (?) at tamo’s grave
