Our male protagonist views himself as weak because she kept breaking him down into nothing, and even after she continues comforting him and throwing him back down. Though as we reach the ending our male protagonist finally seemed to snap, becoming obsessed and impulsive as us the viewers watched. "Hey do you still love me?" The song shows as he looks himself in the mirror to only see her, that is when I think possibly him going "insane" may have actually been just a huge metaphor to him arguing back doing the same thing that she had done to him.

. Starting from the "chi haita no wa," his voice is already so raw, but the way he sings "sa" is a whole other level of passion and pain overflowing from his voice. Not only that part but the lines after that scream and break out in emotion too. Singing that must've hurt like hell, if not from the voice effort then from embodying and conveying the extreme emotions he did.
At Ai finally remembers what happened, he killed his own cat. Aru was the one who “coughed up blood”.There are many possible theories as to how Aru died. It could’ve been neglect, or Ai could’ve killed Aru with his own hands. The lyrics, “coughed up blood”, the glass shards, and the blood surrounding Aru suggesting that a violent scene took place, makes me think that it was most likely the latter. (There are also various items in Ai’s room that he could’ve used to hurt Ai, such as the scissors seen on his bed.)
Personally, I think that it would make more sense if Ai had (accidentally) killed Aru with his own hands first then committed suicide afterwards. His breakdown at and his guilt would make much more sense that way, but it’s still interesting to theorize on who died first and how.

I love how after you Heard miy_yuu's version, you feel Like the original is just lacking so much (action etc.) and is really dull (compared to his Covers) Especially at the "chi haita no wa sa" () it builds up action and then just "bursts Out", as i would say. Miy_yuu is an incredible Singer and wooma is an great artist, i would love to hear more of his covers with wooma making the PV! (I really love wooma's artstyle, and in combination with miy_yuu's voice its just perfect, also, taringtajams subtitles shouldnt be missing, They're amazing!)

Side theory: In , we see "Precuneus". This allows us to feel happy, joyful..v.v in general positive feelings. We all know happiness is activated in several areas of the brain, including this precuneus. Ai (the white-haired boy) in this PV has mental problems, drinking problems, anxiety, depression etc. which also mean negative side of feelings. So when he was about to di-e, all Aru (the cat) wants to give Ai are all the things he has: happiness he used to have ( with Ai, maybe ) and pennies he has collected somewhere, after all Aru just desperately wants Ai to know he loves him and to be happy again, even if their relationship was toxic
she thinks she had finally broke him down enough when really she hadn't. The song comes to the conclusion with him holding her
then the way he stares up in disbelief, in _haha fuck no, please, no,_ but then the other one looks at him with such a sad expression— with pained crinkled eyes and a smile so large it almost looks like a wound— looking so resigned and regretful. Aru(the black cat guy) is crying black stuff from his eye that doesn't have two circles underneath it. The bottom circle is colored in with black while the top circle isn't filled in. Meanwhile Ai(white haired guy) is crying tears(white) on the side where the circles are there but for his, the top circle is filled in with black while the bottom isn't. It has a different pattern and it's on a different eye than Aru's, but they still cried from the same eye.
At you will find that he is a boy. And I think it’s the same boy.and this his old-self? Something like he killed his own old self cause he didn’t love it idk .i just love this song so much
when Ai is holding him you can see that his red eyeball is no longer there. From this, we can assume that Ai stabbed Aru in the eye while in a drunken state.
-Then we see Ai crying at and hugging him after realizing what he has done. In Allan's version, the cat lives but becomes avoidant of the man out of fear. This angers him because he thought his cat would learn to love him again and understand that what he did was an "accident" so he ties a rope around the cat's neck and hangs it in his cellar. I've been watching and listening to this For quite a while and I've noticed that now one has mentioned the cat that was in . I believe that cat was the black guy who died from I guess the lack of attention if he was the cat. We can also see that the room was a mess so the song is pretty much about the guy who woke up.
we can clearly see Aru's body with dried blood around his upper body this is probably from the wound so, he must have bled out and died.
